Opening Hours
Moss Grove Surgery - Kingswinford is contracted to Dudley Primary Care Trust for responsibility for essential services during care hours. (8.00 am - 6.30 pm weekdays except Bank Holidays).
Our normal surgery hours, we believe are to the extent necessary to meet reasonable needs.
The surgery is open for enquiries and making appointments at the following times:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
8.00 am to 6.30 pm
Thursday
8.00 am to 12 noon
1.30 pm to 6.30 pm
The surgery is closed 12 noon to 1.30 pm Thursdays for staff training.
Nurse Access Times
Nurses based in our practice treat patients for a wide range of common conditions. You can see a Nurse at any time during the hours of 8.30 am - 11.30 am and 4.00 pm - 5.30 pm Monday to Friday - No appointment necessary, just book in on the day.
Doctors Surgery Times
By appointment only - except in an emergency. To view individual Doctors consulting times please click here.
All Doctors will see children from 10.45 am.
Extended hours surgeries:
Mondays 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm and Tuesday 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm (Please note during our extended hours 6.00pm to 8.20pm there are no facilities for a chaperone to be present during your consultation)
Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays - This is covered by Prime Care.
We will always do our best to provide you with the appointment of your choice.
Please remember there is a huge demand for appointments and as a result we cannot always guarantee this. You will be offered the best alternative if this is the case meeting your request.
If you are unable to attend...
If you are unable to attend your appointment please let us know so we can use the appointment for another person. Last year 1290 patients failed to turn up for their appointments. The cost of this “lost time” is equivalent to Dr’s hours / practice nurse hours / piece of equipment, which could improve the service we offer to you.
Emergencies
We make every effort to see patients with urgent problems during normal surgery hours.
Emergency appointments are not for patients who cannot attend during normal surgery hours because of work or family commitments.
Please remember “emergency” patients are seen in addition to our normal appointments at the end of normal surgery.
If you believe your problem can wait until an appointment is available during normal hours please do not ask for an emergency appointment.
