Repeat Prescriptions
If you are taking regular medication, a further supply of medication can be obtained on request, subject to your doctors approval. Please allow at least 48 hours for this to be processed and let us know which chemist you wish to collect the medicines from.
How to Order
- You can request repeat presecriptions in person by handing your request to our Reception staff
- Posting your request in an envelope addressed to:

- Telephone requests can be handled between 09.00 and 17.00 Monday to Friday using the telephone number 01384 277377
If possible please use the computer repeat prescription forms or make a request in writing. If telephoning, please do so after 11.00am and speak to our prescriptions clerk. Give as much information as possible about the medication you need, especially the name and strength. Please give at least 48 hours notice for repeat prescription, to enable your GP to review your medication regularly. Please try to avoid ringing at busy times.

Charge per prescribed item £7.20. For items dispensed in combination (duo) packs, there is a prescription charge for each different drug in the pack.

In the future, there will be a new facility to order repeat prescriptions through the website to replace telephone calls to the surgery. This facility will consist of registration at the surgery, generation of individual unique numbers and passwords and a structured online form to collect details of the prescription order the patient wishes to place which can be emailed directly to the surgery.
